Mitt Romney Drops Out

Posted by madcap on February 7, 2008

Mitt Romney just announced that he is dropping out of the presidential race. Mitt is a man of true character. The reason for his decision is because staying in the race is dividing our party, and paving the way for a Democrat victory. I suggested in a past post that Huckabee should drop out for the good of the party. He chose rather to tag team with McCain against Romney, thus splitting the conservative vote.

“If I fight on in my campaign, all the way to the convention, I would forestall the launch of a national campaign and make it more likely that Senator Clinton or (Barack) Obama would win,” he said. “And in this time of war, I simply cannot let my campaign, be a part of aiding a surrender to terror.”
